The National Curriculum (2014) sets out what each child should be able to achieve by the end of each year that they are at primary school.
Below are the links to each group and within these links are further links to the curriculum for Reading, Writing, Mathematics and Science.
This will help you know what your children will be being taught in each of these subjects and support you in being able to help them at home.
Underneath each objective the statement has been rewritten in child friendly language.
If you want any ideas about how you can best support your child in their learning please see your child’s class teacher. One really important and effective activity that will support your child’s learning, at whatever age, is to read with them every day and ask them questions about what they have been reading.
