Monega Primary School

How does Monega assess and review progress towards outcomes of children with special educational needs?

 

  • Progress is tracked half termly against age expectations and informs whether additional support may be necessary. This is communicated with parents so that support can also be put in place at home to reinforce the learning taking place within the classroom.

 

  • When a child is receiving targeted intervention they will attend a review meeting each term with their parents and their teacher to discuss their targets and progress.
